Today is the 1 year mark of living full time (semi) off grid in an rv. I live on the outskirts of a small Colorado mountain town. Before I made the move I was slowly killing myself as an alcoholic, wasting my days as a useless degen. My ass landed in jail one night and I decided to turn it around and be a man. Quitting the boozing was the first step and now I live comfortably working as a solar panel electrician and a part time ranch hand for local ag folks that I started making friends with in the nearby town. I even somehow managed to kindle a relationship with a cute townie who works for the forest service. Life is good bros and I’ve enjoyed spending free time browsing /out/ for tips and a few chuckles. Any rv tips out there I should know about or just comfy stories about changing your life through the outdoors would be greatly enjoyed.
