I also just hate having to share campgrounds with randoms. I want to go somewhere I'll be alone for a week, not listening to someone's Bluetooth speaker bonfire party 20ft away and dodging groups on the trails every 20min.
I'm fine doing 1-2 day hikes in GNP but I want my main experience to be solitude.
>Chinese wallThe Bob is what I want re solitude and wilderness, but it comes at a cost of the minimum loop (kind of meh with no ridge time) is 40mi and Chinese wall is like an 80mi loop if you're coming from the west. Is that the biggest wilderness area in the 48? Has to be close....
