is there any reason to ever use a sling-bag instead of a backpack? if there is, what's the reason? and which sling-bag do you prefer? i guess easy access to stuff could be a reason

what's a purse? you mean like a bag with gold coins you can strap on your belt? i mean a sling bag with 1 strap that goes on your shoulder

Well, with a sling bag you can acess your stuff without taking off your backpack, so they are good when you are taking stuff in and out from your bag constanty.
I see this convinient when you are fishing, and you need your pliers, or your tackle box or whataver.
I recently bought the helikon-tex haversack and im in love with it.
Also, a very good bike bag.

i use sling and belt cuz i hatw sweaty back, lumbar with back up strapsnwould be ideal but aside from making a gi joe larp belt kit the premade ones all suck hardcore
since not carrying gun stuff the water bottles arnt in a stupid location but would be nice if it wasnt army looking
