Anyone goes on hikes with random strangers you meet on facebook groups? I've been going on hikes with random people from my local hiking group, and I've gone to a couple with the prettiest girls, sometimes it sketches me out though, makes me feel like one of these days I'll get ambushed and sacrificed in a satanic ritual in the forest or something.

After a few minutes of waiting and asking where he was he just ghosted me few minutes late someone drives by and starts laughing at me which I think was him. He definitely trolled me good I guess. Ever since then I've never tried to hike with a rando from the internet

I've done this too and sometimes it weirds me out, so I don't do it as often anymore. I've gone on hikes with some of cutest college girls from my local group, I guess that's what makes me kind of suspicious though because these girls are so fuckable I find it strange that they decide to go on 10 mile hikes in the woods with a random stranger. I once went hiking with this girl who had recently moved to my state and was looking for a hiking partner and we kept making out throughout the hike, she kept pushing me off whenever I'd try to put my hands under her pants to get a handful of that ass though, still it was fun.

I ran a backpacking MeetUp group for a few years. We had ~120 members, and went on trips twice a month.

We had a few weirdos, a few clueless people who got in way over their heads, a few hotties, a few really experienced people, a lot of 35-45 year old women for some reason… pretty much everything except families with kids.

You have to go in with an open mind and low expectations. If you’re a typical zoomer with no social skills and you’re somewhere on the autism spectrum, then yeah, it’s going to be a nightmare.
