My neighbour is 87 and I recently showed her some mushroom prints I had made.
She thought they were beautiful, interesting and artistic.

I only recently learned about making mushroom prints and find it a very fun activity during autumn.

What she also said is that she wanted to know more about mushrooms and spores in general, particularly with regard to print taking.

So I thought I'd reach /out/ here and see if anyone could recommend a fun, interesting entry level book on the subject?
Something I might buy my dear elderly neighbour for Christmas along with whatever prints I can make.

Are there any seminal texts I should be looking at?
