Benefits of a bindle:
>no searching every pocket for your flint or trying to find a place to fit your brushsaw, just toss it in and go!
>tarp and blankets are your pack, no unnecessary weight
>look like an old timey hobo
>super quick mount/dismount
If I’m doing a really long trip, or one with lots of rain I’d probably go for a pack. But for clear and chilly fall weekends, it’s the bindle for me.
