Like as far as stateside goes seems like the majority of people here on posts I've read have cited states like Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, as where they live or spent most of their time in. I guess I expected a broader range of states, maybe Michigan, North Carolina, Tennessee, certainly West Virginia, Montana, and Idaho.

New England is awesome but what is it about New England that draws so many /out/ists over other great outdoors states?
