I think it would be really cool to string together a bunch of 1-3 day hikes in appalachia
there's lots of interesting trails if you have the fitness to complete them that you could do that are still kinda interesting in their own ways
West Virginia has the allegheny trail running from the southern end to the northern end and runs 300+ miles.
I think there's about 20 miles of actual natural surface trail as the Pine Mountain Trail in Kentucky, but there's also miles beyond that or narrow dirt road.
There's also tons of long-distance trails in northern pa you could string together a multiday hike out of, mid state trail near babb creek is really pretty, susquehannock trail near hammersley fork
i think doing the same trail for a month would be boring, if you have the stamina, try doing a bunch of different trails
