The military have good tips for this, since they cover long distances on foot (during training atleast).
Wash your feet everyday, no exception. If they have been particularly soggy or sweaty then also powder them with foot powder or talcom powder.
Another thing you can do is 'harden' your feet before your trip by wiping them with surgical spirit after washing them every night. Once it dries pat on some more. Do this daily and it will toughen your skin.
Also make sure your footwear/socks are working for you, not against you.
Look into correct boot fitment, correct lacing, and which socks work and which don't. In the British army a lot of people will wear two pairs of socks when rucking. A normal sock then a thinner liner sock underneath.
From my experience the main thing you want to avoid with any hiking footwear is heel lift. With boots heel lift can be reduced with lacing techniques.
Also look into upgrading your insoles. Putting in a better insole can make a huge difference.
But most important is fitment.
