Are there any outdoor activities that aren't in cities that Africans do?

I have never seen an African hiking or trail running in my country, yet these adverts are supposed to be selling items to this non-existent group.

What's the goal here?
It can't be to expand their market because less than .5% of our population is African.

Has anyone every seen an African outside of Africa that does climbing, diving, hunting, trapping, skiing, hiking, or trail running? Those are the main outdoor activities here yet no Africans so them.

Yes, starving.

The ones we get are parasites wanting an easy life at some else's expenses. Safari guides, trackers, rangers and the likes don't need to pester Europeans to make a nice living.

Country blacks are into fishing and horse riding. I’ve worked at a ski hill for over a decade and I can’t count the number of black folk I’ve seen on my hands. I’ve rock climbed both indoor and out for just as long and I’ve literally never seen a black person at a wall.

yall dont get it. they do this to sell to white people. white city dwelling college educated liberals are the biggest outdoors consumers and these people like seeing diversity in their shopping experience even if not in their neighborhoods. they like knowing a company is “fighting stereotypes” because they like consooming with a purpose. these people will choose to buy from one company over another if they are convinced one is “making a difference” more than the other

You make a reasonable point- people do like the perceived social credit in some things. But I disagree because we white people buy items regardless of races in adverts. In addition, it's advertisers making these due to inorganic social pressure, not organic evolution.

I think the answer is likely closer to corporate pressure and efforts to push an inorganic frame.
