So I've been browsing for a few years now but I still can't decide which type of outdoorsman I want to be. Do I want to be a trad outdoor larper or a SHTF/tacticool outdoor larper? This is obviously very important to figure out so I know what kind of gear I should be buying.

Give me your best arguments(aesthetics are also arguments) for why I should be an old timey hobo/cowboy squatting in the woods or a SHTF schizo pretending I'm out there doing the morally righteous thing preparing for the end of days(2 more weeks).
