>>2682439>There’s more to the outdoors than just hiking.[citation needed]
Look, I used to be a wreck. Couldn't see down to the ground anymore. But I ate carrots instead of potatoes. No wheat or other cereal whatsoever. A lot of cabbage, coleslaw with mayo and grapes and pineapple.
And I hiked miles and miles. I recited Forrest Gump, always admired that character and the weight loss began to show. At ffirst just on the scale but then the pants got looser and I got a chock. Had to ask for help finding clothes that fitted. Crying as I regretted not starting years earlier. I didn't dare to throw my "fat wardrobe" away as gaining and rebuying would ruin me.
And I took longer routes. I camped away from facilities as I could undo my clothes with ease. Today I'm still stocky but I never looked back on the food that made me so sick. It's like stepping out of a thick fog mentally and I never knew the views I missed out on just zapping and munching in front of the telly.
Just get out. One foot in front of the other and get help grocery shopping to avoid the common pitfalls. The church is my saviors in this and I am getting ready to volunteer in similar ways for others.
Truly a feeling of being born again!
God bless
