Why are backpacking videos on the internet so boring? I like walking, but I can't stand 30 seconds of a hiking video.

Because anyone who is a real backpacker won't reveal their local spots to a bunch of faggots on the internet. Therefore the only thing you can make videos about are "gear reviews" and it turns into a combination of consumerism and shilling.
