Hi guys, I don't know if this is the right board for me to post on but I'll give it a shot.

I have been thinking of exploring this town after playing the SIlent Hill games, and it has been on my mind for a while as it is only a 2 hour drive from where I live, but I am worried about any dangers that may be present.

For starters, I do have a knife for self defense, and I own a 3M P100 respirator, but my main concerns are the gases and my right wrist being in a brace. Should I buy a gas detection meter? Should I wait until I am healed completely?

Let me know what you guys think is best.
