Anyone know anything about treads? I've been hiking in my tennis shoes, and it terrible. If it's slightly muddy I can slip, and if I'm going up even a dry incline it barely grips. So, now I want to get some decent hiking boots. The terrain I'm usually on is muddy, with inclines and leaves at worst, and just dirt at best. I also have size 16 wide feet, so I can't just order from anywhere. I found these that are in my price range, but the tread doesn't look amazing, but I also don't know what I'm talking about. Thoughts?
