I posted this in another thread last night, but it looks like it's dead.>November 2023. >Went hunting with my native co-worker on the Potawatomi Rez in N.E. Kansas. >I'm Native myself, but I live off the Rez in city limits. >Fucker hunts nearly 24/7. >I was nervous hunting with him to begin with because he says people on the Rez don't give a shit about rules. >But I went anyway. >Went hunting for Coyote, he had his Rabbit caller ready. >Dad always wanted to take me hunting but due to his felon status, he can't. >Tried to go bow hunting with my dad but the police here are dicks. >My co-worker hunts Deer, Rabbit, Squirrel, whatever. >Whatever he sees he'll hunt, Crow included. >My second hunt was his shortest, and my shortest hunt ever. >I hunted with him prior (first time) and didn't get anything. >This hunt though, didn't even last 10 minutes. >Right after we left his pasture towards his deer stand, there was an 8-point buck 20 to 30 yards out. >We both squatted down because the buck stared at us and didn't move. >"Bro, raise your rifle, now, like right fucking now." >Raised my Remington 700 LH 30-06 and shot it in the shoulder. >I was using Winchester Ballistic Silvertips. >The Polymer tipped 180-grain round went right through the shoulder like a hot knife through butter. >The buck dropped instantly. I'll remember this till the day I die. I was and am still so proud of this.

Thanks for taking me hunting grandpa. Very rare for eurostani children to experience and giving me a gun and teaching me to shot was highly illegal for him
