Wyoming, New Mexico, and Montana mainly. Flat plains that rise into the mountains gradually across the state. Washington, Oregon and Wyoming almost but less so. A state like Utah is vastly different, other than small areas of Colorado bordering Utah. California? There is nothing like the San Joaquin Valley in Colorado, let alone the coastline.
