Hello, I have a problem where pests burrow into my Apples every year and ruin a lot of my fruit. I am in zone 5 if it matters. I suspect Codling moths are the culprit as there are burrow paths from the surface to the seeds in the cores of all of my apples last year. I have applied dormant oil right before budding as recommended by my state university but that probably won't help that much with them specifically from what I have read. Any good treatments/pesticides you'd recommend for getting good apples?
