I love the Radikal pants and choose them over my Fjäll Räven VIDDA PRO's all the time unless it's below 40°
I own two pairs of Vidda Pro' and have had both of them rip and needed to make repairs.
My Radikals have held up better which surprised me.
For jackets I love Outdoor Research and their ferossi zipper hoodie is outstanding year long, I throw it on over my down puffer to protect it in the winter and can even wear it in the summer. It's like a nice protective stretchy layer of skin over whatever I'm wearing
Outdoor Research also makes my favorite raincoat but when I'm backpacking I've moved to using a Kammok Single mat or sometimes double mat as a poncho or small emergency shelter or ground sheet.
Patagonia makes my favorite down 'sweater '
Don't be a brand fag, research materials and weights and your person uses and environments and then buy what suits you best.
I'll often wear all three jackets I talked about together when there weather is really bad and extremely cold. They all layer nicely and create a great layering system for protection against the elements and all perform different functions working separately or together.
Tldr: I like kuhls pants but that's all.
