Yeah outside is a literal ghetto and I'm two blocks from an Interstate. I have functioning vehicle so I can't just go for a quick hike. I live in the South too, so that puts a damper on the type of hiking I actually want to do. Want to do stuff in the Mountains and actual woods, not Pine Swamps.

I can't save for anything when rent and bills financially wipe me out every month. I had a crappy car I was trying to transition out of, to save up for a better one, when the City came by, slammed a a derelict vehicle sticker on it and towed it within a week because it was sitting, unused in our drive-way.
That cost me all the money I was saving for a new one.
Then my father yelled and screamed at me, saying it's bullshit and "making excuses" that I was saving up for a truck that could get to more places than just down the street.

He literally, twice, forced me to this cheap, junkyard and made me by a $2000 vehicle that, now, broke down 4 months after we bought it and I've been without a functioning vehicle for 4 years again.

That's where I'm at.
The other human beings around sabotaged my efforts to get something better. None of them will ever help me get anything better, just more "fixer uppers" that are "cheap" because "that's a good car".... you know, one that doesn't even move.

I've had nothing but shitty vehicles my whole life because of these 'other people" who keep badgering me into taking the crappiest car they can possible find instead of letting me pick and choice and save up for anything better.

So right now, as I was as a teenager 20 years ago, I'm stuck looking for jobs in "walking distance" because my part time job barely pays me and I need rides to get there. No job in "walking distance" will actually hire me and pay me. So I'm stuck.

Very stuck.
