I'm not sure what you mean by either of those things. I don't really notice anything "zig zaggy" in the photos or "jaggies"? Are you viewing the photos in any less than 100%? Could be your screen, browser etc.

And what do you mean by focus going nuts because of high contrast? I'm confused.

I decided to move to photoshop instead of lightroom.

How do I sort out between the pictures I took deciding what to keep and what not to? photoshop doesn't have the same gallery and flag system lightroom has. How do you do it?

You go back to Lightroom.

Lightroom and Photoshop are two programs with overlap, but it's not like Lightroom is a light version of Photoshop that you could upgrade away from. They're designed to complement each other.

Use Lightroom for organization and flagging and tagging and such, then just hit Command-E (or probably control-E on Windows) to pull up Photoshop if you need to do any editing beyond what Lightroom offers.

Bridge. It seems clunky at first, but it does literally everything that Lightroom does. Flag and tag photos, filter by metadata or any other attribute, copy and paste camera raw settings across an entire group. PLUS it has a straight-up file explorer so you don't have to "import photos" to your library like lightroom forces you to do. Once I got used to Bridge, I never touched lightroom again.

Also, it's insane that I'm the first person to mention Bridge. It's like this board doesn't know what it's talking about.
