Gold used to be $5 and ColorPlus 200 was $3, UltraMax was about the same. I don't see any reason to shoot ColorPlus anymore, I liked it for snapshitting when it were cheap, now it's so expensive I might as well pay a tiny bit more for the nicer Gold, or even Portra/Ektar.

It is in stock at the german store Fotoimpex, however to be fair:
German stores list prices including tax (19%) while US stores usualy list prices excluding tax.
But then again, HR-50 has a very high resolution already and a more usefull sensitivity.
CMS 20 needs a push development to even do 20 ISO, so you're shooting 12-16 ISO on a prime stopped down to f/4-5,6 to actualy make use of it.

NC500 (shot at 200, normal dev) is unironically my favorite nu-color stock of all that I've tried.
Also I'm very bummed that Phoenix turned out to be little more than nicely packaged industrial waste. Still have two rolls left and I'm praying I'll finally find a use case for it because I really wanted to love it.

Mamiya rb67 + 70mm back + 65mm vision3 film is the cheapest color film possible. You need to send out to a lab that does ecn2 or develop ecn2 yourself, which is not difficult.

Hasselblad and linhof also make 70mm backs. It's a lot cheaper to use 70mm film canisters with 13 feet of film than getting slit and rolled vision3.

The initial investment is a little pricey, but you'll start saving pretty quick. 260 bucks for a 100 foot spool of 250D, and that should get you over 300 shots of 67.

Yes, although it may not be worthwhile if you dont shoot a lot of 120.

You can also attempt to slit and back your own 120 or 220 rolls... It's a much more obnoxious and tedious process, but doesn't require nearly as much new gear.
