>>4276047The photos are sharp enough, especially when I get higher resolution scans in a day or two. Basically, they are as sharp as I can expect from any other amateur photo film. After I tried some basic color correction and managed to get something to actually look at instead of washed out dim mess, I have two main issues: unnatural/blown out colors, which can be adjusted with enough time and dedication to something very usable, and a layer of red dot "noise" which comes from chemicals on the undeveloped film going bad after all those years and losing their properties. See the attached image as an example. At this point I want mostly to try and get rid of those red dots. "Red eye removal" tool in Gimp works well enough, but far from perfect.
