I've recently found a reel of photo film with some family photos that was sitting undeveloped for around 12-13 years. I've also had it scanned at the photo shop at 3089x2048 resolution each, I'm attaching a portion of one of those photos as example. As you can see, the result is better than nothing, and while I'm extremely happy that I have those photos that I thought were lost forever, I'd like to try and improve them. I realize that complete restoration is likely not possible, but what exactly I can do? Play with color adjustment, feed it to the AI? Convert them into black and white to sacrifice color for overall quality?
