Wildlife photography is a passion, and I put a lot of effort into it. I also do a lot of regular day to day snapshitting though, just documenting things because I am a nostalgic guy. Whether it's a 10 year old campfire I revisited out of curiosity, a particularly interesting bike ride, something I saw on the ground or did at work, a random moment, whatever. Out comes the phone and practically zero effort is given. I just want to document it.
Enter OP making me realize something: I kind of like how shitty they are... fuzzy like memories, leaving a little something to the imagination. Snapshitting is underrated. Side note, if you ever want to experience something surreal, get a home security system... give it 8 or 9 months, pick a random date, and and watch yourself do mundane things you'd never remember in a million years. "What was I doing last July?" Observe yourself live your life... it's kind of creepy. I love the feeling so do it fairly often.
