Anyone can prove this by taking a high ISO image, scaling it to 1/2 its native resolution (make sure any NR options in the scaling are OFF), and then printing both to the same exact print size (i.e. 8x10).

You would know this if you weren't too fucking lazy to go to dpreview and look at other ISOs, and too poor to own a camera+printer to experiment.
