You're trying to do your best to handhold a 1/30 for shots that are going to require 8 more stops of exposure to expose for. Even if you could get 3 stops worth of exposure from ibis you're still going to be underexposing by 5 stops for what you're trying to accomplish. It doesn't have anything to do with how thin or light or any tradeoffs the camera has you're just not going to see ibis solve the problem that you're trying to solve
