>>4297370>Oof, it's hard to swallow when I can get good EF lenses for half or a quarter of that.Yeah I guess so, but it's the cost of entry if you want to use foveon unless they ever release the L mount FF foveon.
>Despite only having 3 AF points, it seemed like it would never select the one I wanted.I'll look into it. But I've been thinking of selling my SD1 so we'll see if it's even worth tinkering with
>Which one came second to the Sigmas?Hard to say. I liked Canon's colors the most. Nikon was cool because of the number of cheap vintage lenses. I liked the Fuji dials but I hated the lack of grip. I didn't really like anything about Sony if I'm honest, which I think is due to it's strengths being exactly the Sigma's weaknesses, meaning I didn't get a lot out of it. I do kind of miss sensor stabilization though.
>How do you think it compares to the files of your SD1?It looks about the same on something green. I mean apparently the Sky looks really vivid and 'realistic' on it. In the Quattros they even included a "Foveon Blue" mode, which is supposed to emulate the color profile of the earlier Foveon cameras.
