I think I have some love for the a7ii, but not at current prices, it's not superlative at anything, except maybe hyperfocal street, where there is no point to anything more (I still say use your phone tho for street).
in case someone doesn't know, high mp is a meem, and basically are only for 1 thing: stop down a wide lens to get it sharp in the corners (because lmao your lenses ain't 36mp wide open), and then "tilt shift" it in post. whether architecture exteriors/interiors, or making cars or whatever look like they are toys (you have to apply a mask and blur to make it work).
imo those abilities will be mooted by basically magnific: tilt shift mode, if they add it.
instead of high mp, buy a ff with good low light, and a crop camera.
ie instead of a d850, buy a d810 and a d500.
in this price range, I would say get a 1dsii and a 7d
$250 + 350 = 600
vs an a7ii @ $650
I love my 1dsii. she's a champ. sick a 7d "mark i" is so cheap.
