5D is a great camera if you put good lenses in front of it, 12mp is more than enough real estate.
Keep it below 400 ISO and it's barely distinguishable from modern cameras in real life use. If you don't need high ISO, video, integrated sensor cleaning get one. The battery life is amazing on the Classic and you can get new batteries for them, I have two Wasabi ebay batteries I use and they are all-day performance with the grip.
It's a no fuss, no bullshit no frills camera. You can adapt Nikon lenses and drop a Nikon FE split prism focus screen and shoot Nikkor glass on FF digital as God intended. 5D Classic was my go to camera until 2017 and I ended up buying another one 5 years later.
