Juste made a long ass post in the /wg/ sister thread, so I'll paste it here as well, in case someones interested:
"They're digital, I've switched to using a Fujifilm X-Pro3 at the end of 2021; I had three lenses with me, the 18 F2, 27 F2.8, and 33 1.4.
Mainly mainly used the 27, it's a great focal length
Regarding editing, I try to keep things pretty light and mainly focus on bringing out what's already there, and the things that were more (or less) noticeable with my eyes
I edited these in the same way I edit film, I put them in Photoshop and did some masking and burning, using at least two curves layers, one making things dark, the other making things light. I then invert the masks, and paint in the adujustments with a brush with 0% hardness and something like 10% flow
I do the same with saturation, and often also have to adjust the colours to get back something thats closer to reality, with the color balance tool (I adjust the three colour axes for shadows, mids, highlights each in turn)
Once i'm happy with the editing, I save the file as a JPEG, and don't save the photoshop layers; I keep the original in a separate folder
It takes about 3 to 5 minutes per picture, sometimes it's faster, sometimes it's longer, but I'd say 3 is about the average/how I calculate how long its gonna take me to go through an amount of them
There's a bit of extra noise in some of the night pictures due to this editing process, and mainly the fact that I edited all these pictures from JPEGs, I didn't bother with the RAW files this time around, and it all turned out just fine, and simpler"
