Judging from the link posted above, and trusting the guy is telling the truth, even regular lx100 without any kind of adaptor is capable of a lot better magnification. Mainly it's all down to lens, but I am positive about sensors drawbacks as well.
>>3378826Jup, working distance is important. I mean, seriously while lx100 does well on it's own, you won't achieve anything at distances of picrelated. But you shouldn't go too far as well! You need perfect balance between not disturbing the bug, magnification and lighting. And that means diffusion, flashes, the lot.
