>>4169760Sony bodies are very well designed. They designed it so everyone could get what they want, so the body is trimmed down for using lighter lenses, like most people do. There is no reason for a camera with a small prime lens to be enormous unless you have weak hands/arthritis and are the kind of geriatric who also has a split keyboard with wrist rests. It is much more comfortable and convenient for most people this way.
If you want to use extremely large telephotos for extended holding periods, you can extend the grip with an L bracket, pinky extension, or the battery grips. All pretty cheap soutions. The smallrig L bracket is what, $50? And it's a mirrorless so if you are constantly holding the camera up ready to shoot, with a big fucking zoom lens, you should have the battery grip anyways.
User error, basically.
