>>4257030It's actually very good. Misses focus sometimes but not often enough to be a big deal. It's sharp enough to get the job done. The lens isn't very fast but that's normal for a zoom P&S. Now, I got mine for a few dollars, but they seem to go for $100+ these days, so bear that in mind.
Loading is really easy, it's basically drop-in loading. The lens is a 38-140mm zoom. It would be nice to have a slightly wider angle on the lower end, but overall it's a very nice zoom to keep in you pocket. The camera is a bit bulky but it will still fit in your pocket. Controls are nice, it looks good, and I can recommend it. Then again, plenty of P&S cameras will suit your needs anyway, I guess.
Here's a photo I took with it. As you can see it's perfectly adequate in terms of sharpness.
>>4257029Have you ever tried bulk loading film? I'm thinking about doing it for B&W. You can get the price of HP5 down to how much you'd normally pay for Arista, and if you bulk rolled Arista it's even lower.
>>4257144I like how Portra 800 seems to look less grainy when it's shot in daylight.
