>>3936982>Not turning your IIIf into the ultimate street snapshitter with the CV 15mm f4.5>Not buying a fine Zorki or Leningrad made from bastard Nazi design after they got humiliated by Red Army>You don't need Leica that cost more than Soviet housewife, etc.Russian meme's aside, the Jupiter 12 35/2.8 is a nice walkaround and you can find them cheap. Don't buy one without it's native rear extendo cap because of the protruding rear element.
CV glass is always a good bet, especially the Ultron and Color Skopar, Soviet stuff is hit and miss after Khrushchev got booted out of office by his friends while on vacation which will be late 60s. Don't pay Ivan Tax for the Orion 28 or Russar 20 unless Russian cameras are your thing, the CV lenses are newer, cheaper and have better coatings. Don't buy the Industar 69 28mm f2, it's made for the Chaika half-frame. The Jupiter 12 is a good lens. Any Russian lens made from 1950 to 1970 is going to be good, you can tell the year of manufacture on Jupiter lenses by the first two numbers in the serial number. The 85 and 135 lenses are nice too but try to find a different 135 from the Soviet one, it has pretty gnarly internal reflections when pointed into light sources.
Don't pay hipster tax for Canon/Nikon/Leica RF lenses either when there's better newer options out there like CV.
Good luck out there.
