it's something of a blurry mess, a lot like how hairs look on MFT. The lens resolves a blurry line and all the extra MP just smooth out the blocky bayer mess so it looks like a painterly smudge.
An image from a crop sensor is not meant to be pixel peeped, it's meant to be enjoyed as a whole. You can spend as much money as you want on up to 40mp and it will literally, provably, not look any more detailed than 24-26mp.
Full framers are already struggling to tell the difference between 36/42/60mp, and IIRC 26mp is the APS-C crop of 60mp. Without a doubt, the peak, where you should stop wasting your money.
