The only thing gearfags do of value is compare stuff so you can see, for a fact, that it does absolutely NOTHING to make your pictures better. If it were not for them people would unironically believe that full frame makes your pictures better, rather than admitting that it only applies in edge cases (and then coping and pretending they ever use those edge cases).
Because of gearfags, if someone says something as stupid as "full frame takes better pictures, I can show them this and say "stfu, its the same picture" while they run away crying about how studio stuff doesn't harvest the microtones and how you need to zoom in 500% because they totally print 10 feet wide. It takes two minutes to BTFO a delusional consoomer because of dpreview. Now if you want to BTFO a consoomer you need a bigger consoomer who owns both cameras and can be trusted to show an unbiased test.
