>>4249555Well assuming both are relatively modern, and both lenses have roughly the same light transmission eg:90% then you get the same noise characeristics, the same DoF, and almost the same image apart from different aspect ratio and optical quality.
Both lenses have the same angle of view and same physical aperture, thats why they behave nearly the same.

That'll take a 35mm 1.4 APSC lens and turn it into a 50mm 2 FF lens. Because its effectively the same thing. A 12-35mm 2.8 and a 24-70mm 5.6 are the same thing - same angle of view and same entrance pupil for gathering light.
