I finally got off camera flash working. Apparently cold shoes and old style hot shoes short out the trigger.
>>3958644Push/pull your film so the brightest the day will reasonably get is 2 stops overexposed and soup in rodinal to lower the contrast. Average light will show up average, darker is going to be darker. You should potentially be able to save most of the highlights and still shoot down to a heavy overcast or extremely overlit interior. Check your actual shutter and aperture and adjust to what speed you need accordingly, it's an expensive version of the streetfag spray and pray.
