i've never saved the raw for that kind of photo and can't compare 40mp directly to your 40mp apsc. for most every photo i take i delete the raw after settling on an edit/crop and save a much smaller image i will actually use. if i print it it's in the size i printed it at. but regardless i'm not seeing the megapickel advantage here and have never, ever seen a photo from a fujifilm camera that made me think "that is 100% a replacement for full frame!". they're adequate and the brand new prices align with that don't get me wrong but you can do better for cheaper buying used and exercising some patience, than you can buying fuji unless you're really insistent on the video features or are a fashion victim. fuji makes a good camera for the new price if you only buy new but we live in a world where secondhand goods are still legal and it's hard to justify.
if they were really that good they'd take the world by storm because i can guarantee you that no one wants to pay thousands more for brand new snoy/niggon. instead they're outsold by cheaper, arguably just as sharp and useful micro four thirds cameras.
my camera and lens were about $1000 together.
here's some pixel peeping for you to peep while you peep your pixel peeped cropped crop sensor crops for reach
