>>3708567I got a Sony FF and never looked back, I got an A7s second hand from someone who didn’t want it for $1800 AUD in 2015, and only in late 2018 I think it was did I get a native lens - the FE 85mm 1.8. I still use it now, it’d be awesome to have IBIS and PDAF etc.
I don’t use the menus that much, just the few controls like WB, and iso, shutter, aperture. On the Sony, something I didn’t realise was that you can change focus peaking level, but also change the focus peaking colour to red, which makes manual focus with vintage lenses a lot easier. Wish I had some that when I was using a 200mm manual prime in Indonesia, but I still pulled off shots. Pic related.
