even this $100 50mm still exhibits subtle aliasing on my dog at f8. it could probably be left in here, but it's there, and furniture, clothing, and window screens can still turn into rainbow nonsense sometimes. it's just much rarer and there's less of it. pursuing max quality at 100% zoom comes with compromises.
