I can see the fur rendering differently with the Z7 at a nearly full stop noise disadvantage, slightly less digital looking, and that's 4000px on the long edge for a 8256 x 5504 camera. It gets harder to tell at 3000x_ and is mostly gone at 2000x+ unless there was a lot of aliasing.
If you never crop, don't shoot things with really fine details of alternating colors, or typically use photos for instagram, you'll probably never care about megapixels even if you did notice. I have a husky, light skinned dark haired relatives, and a bunch of pine trees. That's why both kinds of camera exist.
