>>4265659I shoot snoy because it has a reputation for being robotic and soulless. Other brands are too humanitarian, artsy, and I wanted a cold calculating (focus and exposure) machine that can help me subtly tell the world that I'm an uncaring psychopath, a philosophical zombie, biorobot that is merely pretending to be human.
Snoy marketing is on point. Check out this video,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZqBzCaP_To It's narrated with a synthetic voice, fake inside and out. The neutral average female voice, dry and completely sterile. Not a single emotion is expressed in her intonation. Any trace of soul is carefully removed. Futuristic droning in the background sets an eerie mood, reminding of dark cold vastness of space. Truly it's almost like a reptilian alien was using generative AI voice engine to make this promo. And this unemotional messaging is seemingly at the core of their marketing.
Also a tripfag from /k/ recommended it to me.
