>>4246969>Where do you guys find inspiration for photos?Well for one, I follow lives and works of four specific photographers I think are the best, out of the already small group of them that stand out above all the others on a global scale, and I try to get inspirations from their art, without copying their views, ideas or their styles. Those four photographers being Toshio Taguchi, Wolfgang Tilmans, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Yulia Gorbachenko. I also just recently started studying the minds of Herb Ritts, Irving Penn and Helmut Newton in addition to these four.
Another thing I also did recently is I sold ALL of my Canon and Sony lenses, cameras, gear, SD cards and literally everything else I had, to buy 5 used H mount lenses and a used H6D with the 100MP digital back. Can't wait til it comes and I can start shooting again. - The reason being, 4 months ago I tried my friends shitty Leica scam of a film camera and while I was shooting, I realized ''Oh shit... I actually don't need all those pointless specs, I just need nice, working camera, a nice lens and a shutter button to press...'' and that when I am actually forced to take my time between the shots, I think more about the shot and the scene and it always ends up in MUCH better results in the end. So it dawned on me that even the best cameras in the world (PhaseOne/Hasselblad) shoot at only 1 FPS and don't have any of those retarded specs and additions on them anyway, so I asked myself ''Why don't I just sell all of my shit and buy a film camera?'' but I realized a film camera would be too much, so I settled with MF digital and I decided on Hasselblad to be the best choice. 2 months after that I put all of my stuff for sale and now I just can't wait for it to arrive.
