Weird question, I'm going to explain the situation.
My current Fluid pan&tilt head is of a cheap brand and has a non-standard quick-release plate. So now I want to get into a different system and the plates of the ARCA SWISS and RRS variety are very appealing to me, because fine adjustements to the exact point of balance can be made.
What systems are there that work like this, how interhchangeable are they and what are your recommendations for a quick "retrofitting"? (I'd just buy a bunch of cheap plates and mounts and screw the mounts onto my old QR plate etc.).
I would also consider getting one of these long ones with 2 screws because they could act like a flash-rail or a macro-rail
