>>4292811M1 Max 64GB, handles 8K NRAW fine from a Z9 in Resolve. But being real I mainly shoot in 10bit h265 n-log 4K for client work and have only used NRAW on personal projects.
I have a question. I got the smallrig shoulder rig for my z9, and I want to be able to go from the shoulder rig to manfrotto 501 tripod head. So I got a quick release plate. I can attach it to the shoulder rig… but the tightening knob for the clamp is too close to the rails, it won’t clear and therefor doesn’t tighten to acceptable fastness. What should I do? Can I add a cheese plate as a spacer? So go shoulder mount -> cheese plate -> quick release? I fucked this up too close to be able to solve it before a big shoot this week, and I ended up just using a pistol grip and top handle to mount my Ninja, and stabilized everything with a cinesaddle. Worked great, and I didn’t even end up using the tripod. But I’d like to get my rig more sorted, especially to add a V mount battery that I can draw power from with a dtap to usb-c cable, or even just to power the Ninja and be a counterweight.
Does anyone have a resource for building out cine rigs? I’m primarily a stills shooter and I don’t see a ton of resources for people using Z9s in cine contexts.
