28 and shorter won't work on digital.
35 is a very good but not epic lens anyway
There are plenty of 85 (=90) lenses that are effectively perfect at f/2.8
There are plenty of really nifty 50s
Contax G lenses are AF only. MF is really manual autofocus

I really don't think it's worth bothering. There's a reason smart, experienced people do "standard" things.

Holy shit. I want a used 700$ A7. I didn't even know you could get it that cheap. That makes a lot of sense. I think sony or another manufacturer will eventually offer cheap FE lenses like canon does but that will take a long time. I think I finally understand what people want. I just hope that when those lenses do show up they wont complain that they are not optically flawless and made of cheap materials.

What? I bought my a7 brand new for $700.

And yes, Sony can do 'cheap' FE lenses and price them $400-$500. They just don't want to because they know they can get away with charging $1000 more because good cucks like you will pay anything and still support them.

I've relied on chimping my 5Dc's LCD to judge whether or not the exposure was right on a strobist like shoot.
In the end everything was between 1 1/2 and 2 stops underexposed.
Shoot was salvageable but the whole experience was painful in processing and the final files were noisier than needed.

It was like a cartoon. My windows that go down to the floor and one of them was open, it's right behind the couch.
I only thought about missing the couch when I threw it, bouncing didn't cross my mind at all.

Damaged a 60D and ruined a Sigma 18-35 1.8.
The body took the impact pretty well, it only freaks out when mounted on a tripod but is usable most of the time

Alright so I understand that the dateback imprints the date, does it do this in the corner of the picture itself, or is something else going on?
Also the viewfinder zooms accordingly which is pretty neat IMO.
