>>3297299Newer mirrorless' tend to be the best cameras for low light of any format, but that isn't because they're mirrorless
Focus shines in low light on mirrorless so it's a marginal edge for them overall
>>3297304By that logic all war photographers should use full format. Buy a grip or a bulkier mirrorless if you want a bigger bulkier mirrorless. Stupid comment.
>>3297648This is my main argument. In the end I realised that there ARE some drawbacks to mirrorless that, while small, might matter. Battery life was the major one. Despite that I simply couldn't beat mirrorless in terms of price efficiency. The same stats were at least 30% more on DSLR to buy, and that was a few years ago.
DSLR has some advantages but the market prefers mirrorless, meaning mirrorless will always continue to be cheaper and thus better dollar for dollar
>>3297827I tend to use a 50 and a 16-50 and can always fit my mirrorless in a jacket pocket. It was a major selling point for me and I don't regret it. That said, a DSLR and a strap is fine for 99% of the market
>>3298370It's neither, it's a consumer want. More people want smaller profile than not.
