Photography is an art, and I believe (unlike other hobbyist photographers) that there is something to "learn" before you become a great photographer. Sure you could just go out there, take photos, understand what's right and what's wrong, compare your shots against others, but what about learning all the different things such as lighting, composition, angle etc. from a book? From an online course? From a guide?

I'm a complete beginner into photography and while I do like the idea of just going out there and shooting for fun, I'd also love to learn about the different artistic aspects of photography.
